Sigmetrix offers high-quality professional development programs for its CETOL software to give our clients the knowledge they need to utilize our software efficiently and effectively for better product design.

Instructor-Led Training / CETOL Basic Training
CETOL Basic Training is a 4-day class covering the CETOL interface, fundamental statistics, GD&T, tolerance analysis modeling, and results interpretation. The first three days of this course involve traditional software training. The fourth day is dedicated to applying the software to customer specific assembly tolerance problems. For this, students are asked to bring assembly models to class. These models are used to learn specific modeling techniques that are inherent to a given product. Upon completion of the class, students will return to the workplace with an analysis available for review.

Instructor-Led Onsite, Instructor-Led Training / Fundamentals of Tolerance Analysis Using Tolerance Analysis Extension
This combined instructor-led and laboratory course provides students using Pro/ENGINEER’s Tolerance Analysis Extension (TAE) with hands-on training on the Fundamentals of Tolerance Analysis. Students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge that they have gained on their own designs using Tolerance Analysis Extension.

New User Development
Sigmetrix will work with you to train your CETOL 6 Sigma users in understanding and applying the basic skills necessary to work effectively within the software.  We will take your users through a progression of CETOL analysis modeling using your specific CAD models and data in your modeling environment. Our training begins with low complexity analysis problems and progresses to high complexity requirements.  A total of three analyses are completed. Users must complete CETOL Basic Training prior to utilize this service.

Self-Paced Learning
Sigmetrix also offers a self-paced training program, a convenient, low cost alternative to instructor-led training. Users are shipped a self-paced training manual and are provided with a link to download the necessary training files from our website. Our self-paced learning option takes approximately 16-20 hours to complete and allows you to work through the materials at your own pace. You are also provided with access to Sigmetrix’ training support to answer questions through the self-paced learning process.

Virtual Desktop Mentoring
After your initial CETOL 6 Sigma training, Sigmetrix can provide you with one or more tolerance experts to work virtually alongside your designers in a one-on-one capacity or in a group setting. Our experts will provide practical CETOL 6 Sigma usage tips to save time and accelerate productivity. Our on-the-spot answers will allow your designers to apply our tolerance analysis approach to your specific designs.
