ONSITE CETOL 6σ TOLERANCE ANALYSIS TRAINING
Sigmetrix offers CETOL 6σ Tolerance Analysis Training at a customer’s facility enabling more direct dialog and interaction with Sigmetrix subject-matter experts. The class can be tailored to your business needs by applying the software to customer-specific assembly challenges.
Course Description:
Sigmetrix offers CETOL 6σ Tolerance Analysis Training onsite at the customers facility. Topics covered include an overview of worst-case and statistical analysis concepts, the CETOL 6σ user interface, fundamental statistics, variation inputs, best practices for assembly analysis modeling, functional dimensioning including GD&T, the complete tolerance analysis modeling process, modeling validation, results interpretation, and reporting. Lectures, demonstrations, student exercises, and modeling on customer assemblies are included in the agenda.
Course Objectives :
This course will teach students fundamental software and assembly knowledge required to create accurate variation models using CETOL functionality. Students are encouraged to bring an assembly model to class, or, an assembly of interest can be provided to Sigmetrix prior to training and the instructor will include the assembly in the training process. The goal is to get some “real work” done by constructing a current analysis while learning CETOL 6σ modeling techniques that are inherent to the customer’s product.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum of 3 months, daily experience using CAD software
- Understanding of tolerance analysis
- If used, an introductory understanding of GD&T
- Background in kinematics, i.e. part degrees of freedom is valuable
Class Materials:
- CETOL Training Manual covering theory and functionality
- CETOL Exercise Manual providing instructions for exercises
- Native CAD models to complement the exercises
- A 2-week, temporary training license is provided
CETOL 6σ Software Training Class Structure:
- Three, 8-hour days for 24 hours of instruction
Training Dedicated to Your Business Needs.
Through the training, students will have time to apply the software to customer specific assembly tolerance problems. For this, students are asked to bring assembly models to class. These models are used to learn specific modeling techniques that are inherent to a given product. Many students complete an analysis during training and will return to the workplace with an analysis available for review
Sigmetrix Offers a Variety of Software Solutions & Tolerance Analysis Training to Fulfill Your Workplace Needs to Reduce Manufacturing Cost and Improve Effective Product Modeling.
