MCKINNEY, Texas – May 27th, 2026 – Sigmetrix, experts in mechanical variation management , announced their release of EZtol v3.2.2. This new version fixes known bugs in the standalone version of EZtol as well as EZtol for SolidWorks.
EZtol streamlines 1D tolerance stack-up analysis, making it easy for engineers to quickly calculate, visualize, and validate tolerance impacts without relying on error-prone spreadsheets. The result is faster design cycles, more accurate assemblies, and lower manufacturing risk.
EZtol v3.2.2 and EZtol for SOLIDWORKS
Fixed a results calculation issue in certain situations of assembly shift bias
In some situations where unequal bilateral tolerances are used and the model contains assembly shift between
features of size with clearance; the application was incorrectly calculating the results if the assembly shift was
biased to either minimize or maximize. This issue has been fixed.
Fixed an issue where additional tolerance associated with material modifiers was applied incorrectly
In some situations where features of size are controlled by geometric tolerances that include material modifiers
(MMC or LMC), and those features are involved in assembly shift biased to either maximize or minimize, the
associated additional tolerance was applied incorrectly. The additional tolerance was being shown in the stackup
table and included in the calculated results as equal bilateral, when it should be shown as unilateral. This issue
has been fixed.
