            Sigmetrix, experts in mechanical variation management, announced their latest release of CETOL 6σ tolerance analysis software, version 12.2.0, is now available for immediate download.

            The latest release of CETOL 6σ v12.2.0 continues Sigmetrix’s mission to empower engineers with advanced tools for model-based tolerance analysis. This update introduces several enhancements designed to streamline workflows, improve modeling performance and provide engineers with even greater control over geometric tolerances.

            Enhanced Modeling Power and Performance

            With CETOL 6σ v12.2.0, engineers can now take advantage of several powerful modeling enhancements, including Fastened Interface Joints, Automatic Snapshots and expanded distribution options for input variables.

            • Fastened Interface Joints enable users to model fixed or floating fastened connections without including the actual fastener part in the mode to reduce model size and complexity, improve performance and eliminate the need to modify fastener components within CAD assemblies.
            • Automatic Snapshots streamline report creation by capturing images of assemblies, parts and joints automatically.
            • Trapezoidal and Triangular Distributions provide additional flexibility when defining input variables.

            Smarter Tools for Tolerance Management

            CETOL 6σ v12.2.0 also introduces several usability improvements that help engineers focus on insight rather than setup.

            • Measurement Groups make it easier to organize and manage related measurements within an assembly state.
            • Feature Coordinate System Reorientation gives users control over variable directions for improved modeling precision.
            • Improved Quality Metrics for diametrical geometric tolerances now use a Rayleigh distribution for more accurate defect calculations.

            Designed for Real-World Engineering Environments

            The CETOL 6σ v12.2.0 release supports a wide range of CAD systems and modern operating environments, including Windows 10 and 11, Unigraphics/NX Unigraphics v11.0 to NX 12.0 and CATIA V5-6 up to V5-6R2025. As with prior releases, CETOL 6σ v12.2 is available in English, Japanese and Chinese (Simplified).

            This version also updates the Sigmetrix License Service, compatible with Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022.
