Product Comparisons
What’s the difference between CETOL and EZtol?
- CETOL 6σ: Designed for full 3D tolerance analysis. Best for complex assemblies, multi-dimensional variation, and engineering teams who need comprehensive insight.
- EZtol: Designed for quick 1D stack-up analysis. Best for engineers who need a faster, simpler way to validate assembly variation without building detailed 3D models.
When should I choose CETOL instead of EZtol?
- Choose CETOL 6σ if your product requires robust 3D analysis, high reliability, or is highly complex.
- Choose EZtol if you need to quickly perform tolerance stack-ups during design without the depth of 3D analysis.
Training vs. Software Fit
Which solution is best for learning GD&T and tolerance analysis fundamentals?
- GD&T Advisor is the best choice for learning and applying standards-based annotations.
- EZtol is a good entry point for understanding stack-ups.
- CETOL 6σ is recommended once you’re ready to apply tolerance analysis at the 3D model level.
