CETOL - Open Enrollment

Build practical capability in tolerance analysis modeling with CETOL 6σ Training designed for engineers who need to predict and manage assembly variation using real CAD-driven workflows. This open-enrollment course uses a guided mix of lectures, software demonstrations, detailed exercises, quizzes, and a written training manual to teach the fundamentals of CETOL 6σ. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to build and validate assembly variation models and make design decisions that improve nominal design choices and tolerance assignments.

The coursework is organized into task-based modules you can complete at your own pace. To keep learning grounded, completed CETOL model files are included so you can compare your work to the desired results and quickly spot differences or errors.

Across the course, you’ll work through:

• CETOL 6σ interface fundamentals, interaction with CAD system data, and key application options

• Assembly modeling: defining requirements, building accurate assembly constraints, handling multiple assembly positions, and dealing with clearance (including importing CAD assembly constraints)

• Part modeling: functional dimensioning with standard and geometric dimension schemes, manufacturing variation inputs, and direct import capabilities from the CAD model

• Model validation using CETOL visualization functionality

• Results interpretation, design optimization, and reporting
