          New Enhancements Provide Additional Functionality and Ease of Use for Designers and Engineers

          MCKINNEY, Texas –  August 14, 2013 — Sigmetrix , a  recognized leader in geometric, dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance analysis software and Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, world leader in 3D design software, 3D Digital Mock Up and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, , today announced the launch of its CETOL 6σ v8.3 software for SOLIDWORKS.  As a SOLIDWORKS Solutions Partner, Sigmetrix is delivering a comprehensively integrated solution for SolidWorks® 2013. This latest version dramatically improves the ease of use of one of the world’s most powerful tolerance analysis solutions.

          With this new version, CETOL 6σ can initiate directly from the annotations that already exist within the CAD model generated by  the SOLIDWORKS design software, significantly reducing the time required to model the dimension scheme.  This new feature also allows for 2-way associativity between the SOLIDWORKS CAD annotation and the CETOL model.  Changes made to the CAD annotations are propagated to CETOL and changes made within CETOL in the process of a tolerance analysis are written back to SOLIDWORKS , helping to ensure that tolerance information in the CAD model reflects the correct information.

          Designers and engineers use CETOL 6σ and SOLIDWORKS to see the impact that tolerance changes will have on their overall assembly.  The cutting-edge technology of these two products enables product development teams to optimize their design and manufacturing goals so they can deliver higher quality and more precisely engineered products.
