            CETOL 6σ v12.3.0 3D tolerance analysis software is now available for download! 

             

            MCKINNEY, Texas – June 30th, 2026-- Sigmetrix announced their latest release of CETOL 6σ tolerance analysis software, version 12.3.0, is now available for immediate download. Tolerance analysis benefits businesses in many ways. It helps improve profitability by balancing quality with manufacturing cost. Companies can also realize faster time to market by reducing the need for additional design and prototype cycles. Finally, it allows companies to gain confidence in their product and process decisions before making costly investments. 

            CETOL 6σ enables product development teams to understand the often-complex impact of dimensional and assembly variation easily and fully on their designs. This knowledge enables them to make the proper adjustments before problems appear in manufacturing or, even worse, in their customers’ hands. This new release of CETOL 6σ builds upon the powerful features already in place and adds many improvements, including:  

            Coaxial features measurement

            This is a new class of measurements specifically for features that are nominally coaxial. There are two types of coaxial features measurements:

            • Radial Misalignment – the misalignment of the axes of selected features.
            • Min. Radial Gap – the minimum radial gap between the selected cylindrical features.

            Set component temperatures

            When considering the effects of thermal expansion, rather than assuming that all components included in the assembly state are all at the same temperature, you can define the temperature of each component separately.

            Interaction with VariSight

            There are now options for uploading a CETOL model to VariSight and for importing a CETOL model from VariSight.

            Miscellaneous

            • Improved CAD symbols – the symbols drawn in on the CAD model that represent CETOL objects (e.g., measurements, joints, etc.) have been improved so that they are much more visible (especially on very high resolution displays). Measurement symbols have been improved so that it is easier to understand the measurement direction and endpoints.
            • Advisor message for out-of-date measurement results – after solving for measurement results, if you make a change to the model that may affect the results, an advisor message is shown for the affected measurements.
            • Improved application administration – the Paths options can be used to define alternate locations for report style sheets and templates and for analyzer layouts. Among other things, this allows multiple users to use shared report and layout resources.
            • 2T/3 trapezoidal distribution option – for users who use trapezoidal distributions, this is another option for the uniform width for a trapezoidal distribution.

            As with prior releases, CETOL 6σ v12.3.0 is available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
